Arthur Benchetrit
Arthur Benchetrit, known online as ArtBen, is a French tech content creator. He has been publishing videos on YouTube since the age of 12.
A passion born in front of a screen
Computers arrived early in his life. Long before he knew what a career was, Arthur was already taking interfaces apart, working out how a machine functioned and asking why a piece of software behaved the way it did. That curiosity never left him.
At 12 he published his first video. The gear was modest and the editing rough, but the instinct was already there: try something, film it, explain it. Alongside the videos he taught himself to build websites — a skill he kept, and still puts to use on his own projects today.
From Apple products to tech at large
His early videos centred on Apple. It was a natural entry point: a dense ecosystem, closely watched launches, and a demanding audience that lets nothing slide. Good training for learning to be precise.
Over time the scope widened. Arthur moved from a single brand to an entire field: smartphones and connected devices, but also artificial intelligence, startups, the economics of innovation and everyday uses of technology. The editorial line stayed the same — make technology understandable without dumbing it down.
Today
His YouTube channel brings together a community of several hundred thousand subscribers. That work has taken him to the industry's major events — VivaTech, the Cannes Film Festival, CES — where he has met and interviewed leading figures in tech and industry: Bernard Arnault (LVMH), Sergey Brin (Google), Garry Kasparov and Maurice Lévy (Publicis, VivaTech).
He also works with brands and institutions on video formats, while continuing to develop the sites and tools he uses himself. The loop has not changed since the beginning: understand, build, explain.
